FastCalXP Operation Manual

The Login Options allow the administrator to enable the login feature of FastCalXP. The login feature allows control over who uses the software. In addition,

the feature provides a record in the database of which user performed each calibration and of which user created each certi cate. The Login Options tab is not

available to technicians.



No Login

Disables the user login feature.



Automatic Login

A speci ed user is automatically logged in each time the program is run.



Require Login

Requires any user to enter a valid user name and password. If a valid user name and password is not speci ed, FastCalXP will not run.

When a user is logged in, the name of the user is displayed in the Status Bar at the bottom of the FastCalXP main window. The privileges of the user will be

determined by the user type (administrator or technician) and the Security Settings as discussed below.



To Log In When Login is Disabled

1 Choose Login from the File menu. The login dialog will be displayed.

2 Enter your Username and Password.
